Divya Nag is a Stanford-trained stem cell biologist turned tech leader who continues to reshape the future of healthcare. A 2013 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree in Science & Healthcare, she co-founded Stem Cell Theranostics at age 20, pioneering “clinical trials in a dish” using patient-specific heart cells to screen drug safety. In 2012, she launched StartX Med, the first nonprofit medical-innovation accelerator born at Stanford, which has since nurtured over 500 life-science startups and helped secure more than $1 billion in funding.

Since 2014, Divya has led Apple’s Health team as Director of Health, overseeing key initiatives like ResearchKit and CareKit—tools transforming smartphones into powerful platforms for medical research and patient care. She’s also been recognized on Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business, Fortune’s 40 Under 40, and TIME’s Healthcare 50 lists.

Divya credits her mentors and her "paying it forward" attitude to her roots in San Juan Unified. She continues to inspire young scientists and entrepreneurs—keeping her mission focused on accelerating health innovation for all.
